I was wondering if you choose a 3 column layout in Artisteer 4 and don't have any content in the left column if it is suppose to collapse on it's own or is there something I am suppose to do to get it to callapse?

Empty positions should collapse automatically in Joomla, try contacting support with your exported template and saved .artx file http://www.artisteer.com/?p=support
