Hi,
I'm using joomla 1.6 with an Artisteer template 3.0.
It is not able to show a multi column frontpage, I always see it as a list although I set it up as a multi column 3 across.

With the default template fruit-shop I works fine.
Any idea to solve it?

Thanks in advance

I've sent in a bug report on this very issue the other day.. seems to be an issue with the sample templates only.

What you can try is.. after you load the sample template.. change to joomla template mode.
then go to layout tab and choose 3 columns under the column section.. now here is the bug, you will not see the blocks in the columns.. including vertical menu, login, main menu, etc..

workaround to try.. save the project as an artx file at this point.. (even though you don't see the blocks in th editor), then go to file/new, and select joomla template.. now go to file and then open.. select the artx project you just saved.. voila you NOW see the missing blocks..
finish editing your template and save and export.. you should now have a 3 column template with blocks showing in joomla.

it should work..

Having followed the above steps, I can report that mutli-column templates will NOT display correctly in Joomla 1.6.1 (as of 4/5/2011). They WILL display properly in 1.5.xx versions of Joomla. There are changes in the template XML file which appear to be incompatible with Artisteer 2.6 and 3.0 at this time.

I posted a bug report to the company on 4/4/2011 and have not yet received either confirmation of my submission nor a response.

At this time I do not recommend the use of Artisteer 2.6 or 3.0 for Joomla 1.6.x environments.

I am experiencing this very same flaw in my joomla templates exported from artisteer - columns aren't showing up at all in joomla 1.6.4!!!

I shouldn't be having to perform silly workarounds as described above and I upgraded especially so i could create templates with the latest version of joomla. Come on artisteer guys sort this out ASAP, because you are seriously slowing development of my site right now!!!
