Probably not a Artisteer problem....was adding a page to my blog and when I added the link to my top menu and saved the entire menu disappeared. Reloaded the template and checked everything I could think of but I can not bring the menu back. Any ideas anyone?

I found the problem. In the menu I had a title. It was "Whats for supper" My wife is a English teacher so I knew that I needed to change it to "What's for Supper" that apostrophe is very important. Putting that small change removes the menu completely. I reloaded the template and checked everything before thinking about what I had done when it went away. I edited just the title and removed the apostrophe form What's and the menu came back.
Hope my wife does not see it.

You add pages by going to where you add your posts, then click on edit pages, then click new page and add a page from there. Select so it can be seen in your side bar. Add your page content and publish. Go to your main page, click on that page link and copy the url and then add it to your menu/navigation area. Then simply delete the page widget from your blog so it's only seen in the nav/menu area.

Also when adding your page it gives you the option of "No Widget" It is a little extra work to add the link to the Menu but well worth. What I do is as soon as I Publish the page It gives the option to see the page. I right click to open the page in a new window. I then copy the URL and then go back to layout and add the link to the menu. Type in the Name of the page and then save. You can also change the order of the menu at that point.

It drove me mad for a week. I finally backtracked and remembered what I had done recently and took it out one step at a time till it worked.

Don, thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much for that tip! I was just working on my site redesign on a mirror site to my regular one and practically had a panic attack when the menu disappeared!!! You've saved me a couple puffs of my inhaler. Thank you!!! :)

@Don thanks for asking about this hear, and posting how you fixed it. I was going to make a post about my menu disappearing and then I realized that one link I had in my navbar had an apostrophe! Glad I read your post first!

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me, iv'e been working with blogger and artisteer for a while now but cant figure out if there's a way to make it so that when you click on 1 of the links in my top menu, it opens the link in a new tab instead of going away from the blogger page..?
Please if you know how to do this or point me in right direction would be much appreciated.
