Hi,
I am trying to create 2 columns in my content so 2 articles can be placed next to eachother.
Have a look at : http://www.amaliavansolms.org/joomla/
First what is happening with the second article column. And what is going wrong with the lines around the first block of articles. It is getting thicker when going down.
So it is not about the left or right position, but the articles.

that's done in joomla. choose "menus">mainmenu (or what you call it). click "front page" and look at the "parameters (basic)" to the right. set "columns" to 2.

darn, sorry - i didnt understand you correctly! ;-( In my haste i thought you meant HOW to get two columns.
It's because of the article padding - of which there are a few different ones (padding and spacing for article and it's frame and for the text) Set all those to 0 and then work upwards from there.
did that help you?
