Thanks to those who helped me try to figure out how to put three columns on my page. I couldn't figure it out. Set it aside a couple of weeks and finally figured it out today.
I could not for the life of me figure out how to set "3 columns" in the parameter for the home page. I created three paragraphs and tried setting it all kinds of ways. Weird thing is that at one time I got it but it didn't work the same for when I went straight to the site versus clicked home.
This is what I finally did:
1-Used Dreamweaver to set up a two row, three column table. No HTML code in the document besides the table. Graphics on top row, text on bottom.
2-Found really great instructions for "custom html" module in Joomla here about 1/3 of the way down the page, look for this bullet:
"Make certain to learn how to Create a custom HTML module Scribd by blitzprog;"
3- When I first placed it the table showed up on every page...then it was again not showing up when I typed in my URL but did when I clicked home...figured out that when you click on the module I had to assign the menu in two places.
The only thing is that I have it assigned to User2...which by that diagram should be two columns on the left. I guess since I deleted all the modules on the right it automatically spread across the page? Should I be assigning it somewhere else to make sure it shows correctly in all browsers?
Here is my site:

and "blog" is linked to my blog which is a separate Artisteer template for Wordpress. I linked back to my website by the nifty redirect wordpress plugin that I read about here.
I'm still working on the site...but at least everything is 80% done now and working correctly!
Thanks again to this community and Artisteer!
