Quote :this solves almost everything for me, there are lots of positions already created.
What "lots" might they be?
I have used someone else's copy enough to know that I will buy this program when the lack of possible module positions is addressed.

Yeah that grid system is awesome. I saw it being used by Rocket Theme's Gantry template system - very, very flexible. I installed gantry but their documentation was appalling and I just never got to figuring out how to customize the template.

@marc - In order to see all moduleposition, you have to enable this function in joomla, in your template. See http://joomla.dechiffre.fr/6 . Sorry, it's in french. But with the snapshots may be you manage to find your way.

Marc, I agree with Per Hertz, and also would like to add that if you need positions 7, 4, 5 and 6,8,3, two-column or three-column Page layout (! not the content layout) should be chosen in Artisteer, You can do this by going to Layout tab -> Columns -> Two columns/Three columns.
You should note that if there is only one sidebar in the template, the positions 7,4,5 are used by default.
In case there are two sidebars (with Three-Columns layout), the positions for the left one 7,4,5 and for the right one 6,8,3 are used.

No one wants to go into the coding to do this each and every time a design is needed as it would need to be done each and every time the theme is updated.
Can't you simply allow for modules to be created? What's so complicated here??
We've been asking for this for YEARS!!
