I have the pleasure of managing both moodle and a SharePoint server farm - these both need a tool like Artisteer to make themes - the skill needed now is beyond most average administrators.
Please bring it on!!!

IAN, That's a nice tip on JoomlaLMS. I have not heard of it before. I tried it out online, it seems more than adequate for a small setup. My only real issue with it is that it is somewhat expensive; cheap compared to Blackboard and a few others but Moodle is free. It is still worth considering though. Have you administered JoomlaLMS? Thanks

One more vote for moodle!
My favourite LMS desperately needs a new dress for the prom and I'd rather not have to sew it by hand...

Moodle would be a major reason for me to upgrade from the Home version.
There is very little in the way of decent Moodle templates compared with all the other CMS/VLE systems, so it would be a majorly good reason to get Artiseer if it had Moodle templating.
Come on Artiseer, please please

I totally agree. Moodle 2.0 has been released for production servers and having the type of design ability that Artisteer provides would be awesome.
I am going post a similar request over at the Moodle site. Perhaps one of the members more skilled then I would be willing to work with the Artisteer group.

Moodle for me too please?
Although 1.9 AND 2.0 as there are lot of users out there refusing to move or can't move to 2.0 because of the changes in features between the two.
I'll be sticking with 1.9 for a LONG TIME!!!

Another vote for Moodle 2 support.
I have found Artisteer great for Drupal & Joomla sites but adding Moodle support would be the icing on the cake. I'd even buy Artisteer again if Moodle support was added!

8/21/2009 - first request for Moodle
3/16/2012 - latest request for what has now become Moodle 2
19 months wait - impressive customer response time...I don't think Ive seen one that long before.
Any idea how much longer your dedicated supporters have to wait for this long overdue development?

For Moodle (which I only used in a demo environment) I can't say much. For SharePoint...As being a long time adminstrator/developer on 2003/2007/2010, I would say nay. Don't do it in Artisteer, create another environment for it. I don't think the framework of Artisteer can take much more, especially as deep as SharePoint. What would you include? List, Libraries? XSLTView adjustment? Or just coloring (theming)? You can use PowerPoint for that nowadays. There are too many variables to take into account. I seriously and sincerely advise against including SharePoint to the list. Rather Concrete5 (also a bit complex for generating templates) or basically any Open-source/Free CMS environment.
