I have to agree with Dave B.

Having e-commerce support in Artisteer would be, obviously, great.... but considering present development speed I think it would be better to focus on joomla, wp and drupal...

Actually most of Joomla, WP issues can be solved by updating the server export without a need for a new version.

What is missing is improvements on responsive design and e-commerce support.

I wouldn't pay more for any "Pro" version, but with the money we are giving I need to see software improvements besides just fixing bugs.

We just keep beating this dead horse. This project is dead and no amount of beating will get the horse to stand up again. Face facts, move on.

Quote Dave B:

Hopefully adding too many platforms will not affect the WP and Joomla functions. I would rather have a program that works well for less than have e-commerce.

I still think some split off or pro versions would be nice.

One of the smartest things said on this forum. I'm a huge believer in the KISS Rule (Keep It Simple Stupid). The more platforms you add to this program the more fixes you have to implement.

Agreed wholeheartedly. IMHO, and no offence to those who still design this way, the whole move to catering for static HTML sites and adding content to CMSs via Artisteer was a COMPLETE waste of time and resources. You add content in the CMS, not to your template. Months wasted.

Agreed!

I use Artisteer to create a WordPress "Shell" only. I leave it up to WordPress and a handful of great plugins to do content.

Unfortunately, we cannot discuss all our upcoming plans and dates, but we're currently working on the development of Artisteer 4.3 Beta and it will be available on our News page once it's ready. Please also keep in mind, that we're regularly updating export plugins with bug fixes and minor improvements - the exact list of changes can be seen in a CMS specific Artisteer forum.

We have deleted some posts that violate our Forum rules and decided to close this thread for further commenting.

Thanks for your concerns - we do our best to release the Beta version as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Artisteer Team
