I took my time to go through all the comment here about Artisteeer and Themler, and Createer. To some, Artisteer is best and needs to be improved, others themler is an emerging product to take over from artisteer. Etc.
To me the Developers are also the marketers. Let us know they think you are not satisfied with artisteer marker share. Artisteer had no equal in terms of a web template design. Creating an article and designing a web template are quite two different things. Why wasting your time when you have something everybody is lauding trying to re invent the wheel. If you have new idea. Why not use it to push artisteeer further. All the features you guys debating on could all be raminify in to one all encompassing apps DeArtisteer. Why do you have to be poisoning your customer's mind?

Please put all the features together and if we have to pay more for more features. That will be OK. Stop poisening our mind.

Apart from Themler being slow as molasses, the inability to edit text in-place is a complete idiocy, sorry, no matter is 'www user is repeating or not, or if it sounds silly, or not ...

For some, Artisteer started to lose the ground, when it became content editor. For some of us, it was a blessing.

Give me the inline content editing and html output and I might be sold ...

People, all you have in Artisteer is already in Themler. Plus hundreds options more.
Lacking some less known CMS, HTML template and some more not important things. Coming soon I believe.

- Now it is not slow anymore, also saving is very fast.
- All WP Tuxedo has Themler has too, and big more.
- It evolves every week to something better.
- Doesnt have .artx export file. You dont need it. Zip theme folder, send it to a friend, ih he has Themler licence he can continue to edit theme.
- Themler suits better for traveling folks than Artisteer. Put theme on USB stick, and edit it where you need, when you need. All you need is username and password for Themler login and licence verification. Best for hired webdesigners in companies, You dont even need to say to boss how you do all those magnificent themes. Nor they will ever know, as it was case with Artisteer. Give them what they ask, for very short time, and enjoy spared time for surfing and relaxing.

- Difference between Artisteer and Themler is Themler demands better knowledge of CSS. I see on my friend he understood Artisteer better because he is not so educated in CSS.

- Responsive is miles better than in Artisteer.

- Desktop version is out. But it is only stripped Chrome browser and own servers. Dont think Themler needs desktop version at all. Not when you can copy all themes on USB stick and work on them wherever you are in the world, and on whatever computer. You are not anymore limited to OS too.

Your Themler Username and password are "Desktop version".

No, cannot list all differences, they are to many. And they work on Themler whole time. On Artisteer they dont.

Something more.

For first time ever I design themes, thanks to the Themler.
I mean I could design before, but out of fear for responsive and different devices, screen sizes, all my themes were boring and looked the same. Top menu, right sidbar, right menu, etc.

I did not dare to complicate things much because I used to have hell when manually tweaked for responsive, grid, columns, etc...

Now with Themler I can let my imagination go and all themes can be designed very differently. Bootstrap takes care of responsive, horizontal-vertical centering things, easy to adapt for different devices via Themler.

Huge difference.

Give it up Jun. Artisteer is dead. The company has doubled down on Themler with the desktop app. There's no turning back

Maybe we'll see one more Artisteer release since Eileen posted this on another thread.

http://www.artisteer.com/media/p4/files/NotOfficialReleases/Artisteer.4.3.0.60761.exe

But the company's future is Themler, like it or not. There won't be an Artisteer 5.
