I was not able to import content after upgrading to latest Artisteer and latest joomla! I implemented each suggestion here and in this thread:
http://www.artisteer.com/?post_id=249131&p=forum_post&forum_id=20
What worked for me was Igor's fix to switch to the Hathor admin template. I could then import content successfully. Switching back to the isis template did not adversely affect the new template.
Thanks to everyone that posted suggestions.
Guys I had the same issue until I figured out it has to do with your HTACCESS file. you need to allow " Allow direct access, including .php files, to the template directory. If you are like me and aren't good at working with your htaccess file then you should consider getting Admin Tools Pro. I have been using it along with Akeeba Backup on all my Joomla sites for years and love using them both. you can get both from https://www.akeebabackup.com/ I hope this helps.
