Richard,

I think you're right. I only checked it on two of my multi-site installs and thought it was on the single too. I just checked one of my single installs and it wasn't there. It makes sense that wp_sitemeta would only be on multi-site where you would set the limit for each site.

It may also be controlled by adding instructions in the htaccess file. I seem to remember a few posts in WP support about it.

Guys, besides the upload limits set by your cms, the servers (apache, IIS, etc...) also have similar limitations too. You can tweak the server settings if you have a dedicated server or a VPS, but in most shared hosting accounts you are at your hosting company's mercy.

:( PFFF!!

No search in the header or menu bar!!! Bah!!

It's stupid to think that in 2012, a software like artisteer, does not allow this option!

Hi, I have just started testing the Beta. Good work and nice to see you are keeping the steam up.
Artisteer 4 crashes when I try to open a artx file created in artisteer 3. I send the error report automatically via mail. Do you ask for further information if you need it?
Comment
To the good collegues making comments on the site, I have a few friendly remarks
A: This is a beta, we are helping us selves and Extensoft by good professional testing efforts.
B:Artisteer is very fair priced, do not complain about having to renew evrey year, at least not in the Beta part of the community

We review all those reports and make appropriate fixes and adjustments in future product updates, but sometimes it can take time to accumulate enough information and enough fixes to release an update.
If you need the project soon then please submit request to the product support and we may be able to send you back an adjusted project file, or a temporary patch.

Nick, you're the best :-)

Yeah I was a little disappointed this still isn't possible. Back to inserting them manually :-(

Would be great to be able to make a widget area anywhere in the header section. I could put anything not just a search bar there. Right now I have to code it into an Artisteer theme which is fine but time consuming.

Great product lets all help to make it the Best Product!

What CMS are you using? We've added such widget area to WordPress, Joomla, Blogger and Drupal templates (4.0 Beta).

The instructions are as follows (e.g. WordPress):

1) Go to Appearance > Widgets

and add a Search widget to the Header Widget Area.

2) Adjust the position of your widget under

Appearance > Editor > Styles > Stylesheet

by using the unique widget's ID attribute, e.g.:

#search-1 {  position:absolute;   top: 20 px;   left: 50%;  }

Best regards,

Lots of new features, however the most requested feature is still missing. You still have not implemented truly responsive design. Disappointing.

:-{}:-{} Yes all the new features are great - however I noticed that even though I choose import content (infact I have tried all the options - all the formating is lost in terms of color of cells once it is uploaded into word press. If I have a black colored cell -it looses that color - if I have a border color on the cell - that also goes.

Great if all this worked. - i have been using Artiseer for well over a year and the same with wordpress -experienced user. As I said great if it fully worked.

Listen....Artisteer 4 is definitely pretty nice but there is a ways to go to make the Joomla portion of it 100% or close enough to it to use in production. I hope the BETA stage goes quick and a solid update or RC comes out. It is quite impressive.

:-)

I hope you don't mean windows? Apple only controls about 10-15% of market share. Unless you build everything from an iMac which isn't supported yet.

Maybe I miss understood your statement.

No, I don't think you did misunderstand. I think it was a cheap shot at Windows Users. Maybe not but, it is always unenlightening to see the "Which is better, Ford or Chevy..." duality still being perpetuated by the shills....
