I am not that found of resposive designs. I think they are hard working with. I rather have a fixed width and use the normal version shown on tablets.

Things is I could sure use some tips of how you guys would do it.

My issue being

I found a mobile switcher plugin that I can use (Wordpress) but when choosing theme how can I allow the content being displayed and thus designed for the 320 px version (meaning another design on the frontpage content area) shown on ONLY the mobile version and another content suitable for the regular browser sizes?

I know this is boderlining to being an Wordpress forum topic but I am using the Artisteer to make the templates thus it would be more meaningful approaching You guys in this forum.

I am grateful for any tips and rek. of what is the best way to set up a mobile version of a regular sized version in wordpress using artisteer to create the templates - not being the responsive design solution.

Cheers

Quote Tony Denson:

Last week I purchased a mobile template program complete with 3 hours of video that showed me how to set all of this up my cost on Warrior Forum 17 bucks and I have one sold for 400 and another done and negotiating for 500. This from an Artisteer WordPress raptor.

So until Artisteer steps up with the smaller screen widths I already will be using my 17 dollar templates to pull in the local business.

Justification for going after mobile resolutions: HALF of all searches right now are done on mobile devices. 72 % of those searches result in sales. That is why my current campaign is Go Mobile or get left behind

This site has Artisteer Wordpress as main site and this mobile version is on subdomain

How do you set up the page content in this type of solution? I mean this meaning that if you add (create) one page in either one of the versions you need to also create a version for the other? There is no plugin that can draw information from one site and display on another?

Hope you get my point! :)

Thanks

Rickard

How do I theme this responsive web design? Sometimes it looks awful on my sites. Especially if the browser window is resized smaller and the site pops into this responsive design. My dropdown menus suddenly don't work, and I have a big white space at the top? Is there a particular stylesheet that is controlling the "squished" look?
