I can understand some wanting fluid layout but in my opinion most sites that use them look ugly when stretched. Another thing to consider is as resolutions in computers increase I would expect a move towards users running their browsers in a window as opposed to full screen. Having said that though I do have clients who have 24 inch monitors at 1920 x 1200 and use the full screen to write an email, go figure. I think the Artisteer software is excellent and will continue to buy it.

I read this entire thread with some interest and a few laughs but I think something might have been misunderstood here. Unless I'm very wrong I think the people asking for fluid capabilities mean only fluid headers/footers and not main body. I agree that fluid sites are butt ugly but fluid headers and footers would allow to create some very nice themes that would look quite different than whats currently available.
I for one don't care since it only takes a few minutes to create the fluid header but anything that saves me time I'm cool with

Also mention what CMS this is for and post in the appropriate sub-forum

I love how peeps working for Artisteer keep bringing up that "for the money" this is an amazing product even with the glitches and drawbacks to this software suite. The cost may not be all the money in the world but for most people it IS quite a bit of money and if there are limitations within the software then people have every right to complain and make their opinions heard. Keep patting yourselves on the back artisteer admins, soon another company will come along, do everything you are not, undercut you, and that will be the end of you.

Good thing I've been reading this forum, I really thought that th edevelopers would listen intently to their customers.
Not much use if you can't for instance, add a multi coloum footer right from the user interface of Artiseer.
I have yet to see where you get the 3.0 beta, latest seems to be 2.6....
I use it Artiseer, but certainly wont pay for it.
I'm sure one day, another company will create something way more robust and packed full of features that the members of this forum ask for. Wake up Extensoft......
