Great first attempt. If you keep with it you should be able to generate some income with it. I'm curious. Would you mind sharing what the ppc income looks like so far? Thanks!

Randy, to be honest, the ppc is minimal if any. :)

Mark thanks for the feedback. Artisteer saves us a great deal of time now in creating custom sites for our clients. We will continue to use it as it will only get better. We are a small graphic design firm so this tool gives us the ability to use our graphical and layout skills to put together some very nice designs for our clients. Half the battle of good web design is in the graphical and layout area. This tools allows us to focus on our core design strengths and very easily know where we will place modules, graphics, etc. within the framework. Once again thanks Artisteer team!

Chris,
How did you get the "splash home page" look of your home page, so that it doesn't look like the 2 or 3 column look of the other pages and so that the right menu doesn't appear?
Great work.

Mark,
Great site! It's amazing how adaptable the artisteer templates are. I'm still in development and have nothing to post yet, but I had a question about portfolio listings.
Say you design a fantastic website, and the client buys it and everything's fine, but as time passes the website is no longer online, or someone has redesigned it or whatever. Do you have to pull that site out of your portfolio? How do you show your previous design if it's changed dramatically? Do you have to give up showing off your great design because the site is not up or has been taken over by somebody who wanted to save money and do it themselves? I've have a couple of sites that I have that fall under this scenario and can't seem to figure out which way to go. Thanks for any advice.

Robert,
The art looks great but in viewing your werq-moerdijk site on my small laptop (12 inch Powerbook) the page doesn't fit on the screen and I have to scroll quite a ways horizontally to see the whole page. Just thought I'd let you know. Too bad I can't attach a file to show you what I see on this end.
I'm hoping that Artisteer will make it easier for us to great 100 percent widths to adjust our pages so it will look great whether they're viewing it on an iphone or a HD monitor. I'm sure Artisteer is working on it given the great response they've given to other requests. In the meantime, I'm having to rewrite the code to adjust the widths.
Thanks for sharing your sites Robert. You're very creative.

Hey April Pastis,
Thanks for the kind words, the portfolio question is a good one. I suppose i have never though about it before but i have done many but heres what i tend to do. Just have a selection of sites you know that your customers dont mess with that much. also check them every month or so and maybe change to your most rescent builds. Just have 5-10 and then its easier to manage.

On the Frunae website we simply put a custom Yoo Carousel module (YooTools.com) in the banner1 position of the template that displays a series of 5 articles from a single category (each one having just an image of the drink). The images and module are sized to be as wide as the site. The key is the banner1 position vs. the content area. Since that front page is an article and articles require content we put a blank single celled table as the articles content which invisibly shows up right below the splash graphic.
Hope this helps!
