Version 1 of Artisteer does not export Joomla template.
Version 2, which is due to be released in the very near future. It is currently being tested by many members of this forum.

Why did you change the Typography features-panel from the earlier release of Artisteer 2? In RC it's much harder to see an overview of all typography...
But besides that, I like it very much! Thank you for producing this program!

Have a look in index.php in your template folder, you can comment out or change the info there.

It CAN be done.
I dont want instruction to open this file and go to line so and so and delete this text. I will not do that to remove the stuff. Remove it from the software...give liberty to the users to use their own text or if they are kind enough, they may add the word 'Artisteer'. Once paid, you can not advertise your product on our thing without the users consent and that too free!!

Have a look at the new "Export Options" that should fix your complaint.
It's under the main menu > Export > Export options

Hi,
I purchased Artisteer few months back. Everything is OK with the software but the annoying thing that it advertises 'Artisteer' on every template it makes. As it is a thumb rule, these advertisement/branding is only made with 'free to use' softwares/scripts (example Wordpress/Joomla etc) If at all scripting is done, it is not openly visible. Once paid, this is removed. I and many of your users have requested you to put this as an option so if we feel, we can include the name of Artisteer in our template or go without it. The present software compels us to have the nagging word "created with Artisteer".(See Image: http://i39.tinypic.com/25tb3me.jpg )
I know the solution you are about to give to me, goto file so and so and line so and so and delete/change this text. Please! I dont want to do all that. the change should come in the software giving the choice to advertise the brand "Artisteer'" or not to the user. Once paid, at least I would not like to advertise your brand on my templates.
I have posted a similar message on the forum and I wait for your response. You are forcing us to advertise your brand.

Well, I don't work for Artisteer and I think your complaint is unwarranted.
In the time it took you to post the messages here about it (and not just these two) you could have edited the ONE file that would allow you to NEVER see the footer text ever again.
You'd rather build the themes by hand? And not have the abilities that Artisteer gives you in design and creation of those themes? Over a 10 second fix that you could make yourself?

Hi,
i exported an Wordpress Theme.
In the articles embedded centered pictures are left justified represented in the Firefox. In the old version these were represented still correctly.
And in the IE these pictures are further centered represented.

Hi me.prosenjeet,
You can easily do this in Joomla by going to the Extensions tab in your admin... then template manager. Click on your tempate and then the Html editor {upper right hand corner)... it should be the last line of code... Just delete it or modify... Hope this helps.

Ps, by the way... this is one of the most prolific pieces of software I've found in a very long time.... If affiliate marketing is done the right way, this thing will explode... guaranteed

Why do you make a big problem of a small issue, you don't have to be a PHP programmer to remove the line from the index.php.
I agree with Marc, great product and it's saves me a lot of time making templates for my customers.

Go into footer.php of your Joomla theme and remove that line (or change it to something else). It is very easy.

If you want to hide / erase those "advertise" you can simply modify the template html file; in joomla you can do it directly from the administrator panel / template section. Something similar also in wordpress and at last you can edit it with notepad!

I just tried Artisteer this week and purchased it right away. I also upgraded to the newest version and think it's really good.
One suggestion I have is that when you open Artisteer it shows a New Document window with two choices - Create and Close. It would be nice to have an "Open Recent" on that screen. I did uncheck the box "Show on Startup" but I like the pop up window.
I have a question that I haven't seen answered anywhere. In most Wordpress templates, in addition to categories, archives, etc. in the sidebar you will see pages. (as in my blog here - http://www.centraltechsolutions.com/blog/). In Artisteer if you select a Page Layout with just a header, the pages do not display on the screen. Is there a way to have pages in the sidebar?

Once you install your theme from admin in WP simply go to appearance > widgets and select anything you want ... it will install those into your sidebar.
Ex:

Thanks Linda. I was really hoping that I could place the Pages option in the sidebar while I was in Artisteer so I can check the layout. Most of my customers are starting to use Wordpress for their whole website and the ability to view Pages in the sidebar is pretty important to them.

Pages can be added to any sidebar as a widget.
It will list the pages, just like other posts or a search area or any other widget that can be placed into the sidebar.
This is built in functionality of WORDPRESS not of Artisteer.

Please note that Artisteer creates only DESIGN of the possible feature content of the site/blog. And you decide what it will be the content.

You can change position of the Search module in Joomla admin. This function is not necessary in Artisteer. On mine opinion.
