just wonder what was the reason? Usually this error occurs when you open Artisteer 2 project with version 1.

Is the joomla temolate supposed to be exported as a zip, ready to upload and install?
or am I supposed to zip the file, if so which files??

Ok I have install my first template, I have 2 problems...
1... The text size is smaller than what I creating in Artisteer, which hopefully I can change by editing the css file
2 ... The template I created has a top dropdown menu or should have, the problem is the images are not showing, plus text size is smaller than I created and is aligned top/center..
Anyone had the same problem or know how to resolve the above

hi,
i realy love the new beta version of atisteer. it's great! you are on a good way and i don't regret to to have bought artisteer.
the only thing i would like to have, is even more flexibility in the design, like to use my own design for the flags of menu etc.

i use artisteer for wordpress 2.7.1
but there are a few problems:
when i try to use my own texture for the backround the picture is not transparent although i saved it as an png with indicated colours and transparency.
the coulor-style i gave to the header-text of the articels doesn't work when i install the template on wordpress.
i can not change the position of the foreground foto. when i use an own forground foto i can not use the effects glow or flip.

are you using the latest version of Artisteer 2 Beta 2.0.2.14734. You should not have problem with foreground photo position there.

What i really would like to have is the option of vertical menues, that would improve the usefullnes and also give a greater variation to the templates.

Hi,
I'm very very for the Beta 2 of Artistter.
But when I install my theme to joomla, the menu doesn't look like, what I designed in Artisteer. I read something about setting up 'user3' in joomla admin-panel, but I cant figure it out. Plz help me.

Hello Torsten,
You should go to Extensions > Module Manager > click on your menu module, e.g. Top Menu > and select Position: user3 > click Save button.
That's all.

We believe that the Beta 2 version is quite stable and only a few minor issues are remaining. Following is a basic summary of changes and additions:
- Exported Wordpress themes are internationalized and available in French, German, Italian and Spanish, with additional languages available from Wordpress Website. For more information refer to ReadMe.txt in exported themes.
- Variety of Joomla export issues were resolved, including now working submenus and content editing via the front-end 'edit' icon. Please note that the supported menu type is 'User3' , which should be selected in Joomla administration.
- New Export options for specifying template name, version and author. Also an option for custom watermarks is provided if you are creating temporary templates for review by your customers and want to use our built in protection mechanism.
Please note that we review all feedback submitted to support@artisteer.com , however, we may not always be able to respond and support Beta related problems. Our team also scans forum posts for Beta related issues and tries to fix those that can be reproduced and resolved without additional feedback. We do ask that you use Beta software at your own risk, do not rush to create live Websites, and do not expect full support for Beta products.
The official Artisteer 2.0 release might be possible by mid-February but depends on your feedback and the number of new issues found.
As a reminder, all upgrades are free for 1 year and not related to product versioning. Artisteer 2.0 Beta 2 version can be installed on the same computers as version 1.0 and both can be activated using the same license key.

For joomla this is great and can be very powerful if more positions are made available especially the top position areas. User3 is very limited. I hope to see more positions when it gets release. Keep up the great work.

Sorry if this has been asked for, but it would be nice to have all block options available to the company homepage template and not have it limit you to only a selection... eg I'd like to have the Wordpress 'categories' block but the homepage 'highlights' block together.
If this is already possible, I apologise, and please give me a hint as to how...

hi everyone
does any one knows how to create main menu (up to down) button in template with artisteer 2?
I made template but I couldn't find any option that allow me to created button for main menu . I mean not the main menu that on the top ..I want to create main menu from up -down
