Great software!
I am using the tiral version of Artisteer. When I try to activate the theme in WP admin area, Artsteer themes do not give the preview as other themes do. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I've used over 10 themes created with this software, they have all worked as expected.
When you say it doesn't give a preview, do you mean when you attempt to enable it and WP then gives you the lightbox of what the site will look like?
What exactly do you see when you do it?

Sorry about the last post.
When I activate a theme, the light box pops up and gives a preview of the theme. I created a couple of themes with Artisteer trial version, and these themes show up as white blank in the light box. Marc, thanks for all your kind replies in other forums. They are really helpful. Thanks.

I noticed this the first time I uploaded a new theme. Later it worked, I guess it was slow to generate the picture, perhaps?

I posted this somewhere else and no one helped me last week
I uploaded my theme and it isn't showing in my design panel and I have no way to activate it.
I use new themes from wordpress all the time so I do know what I am doing usually. I bought this and love it , I need some help to figure out why my themes are not showing.

Are you exporting the theme using the Wordpress function in Artisteer?
Zip up your file and email it to me at info@stuntmusic.com and I will take a look at it.

Please do not use spaces and/or other special characters in the WP theme names. It prevents the preview from loading and also breaks other WordPress functionality, e.g. code Editor.

My WP templates aren't exporting correctly....at least that's what I think the problem is. The URL is: www.middlevillememories.com, which doesn't look like the template: http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff260/kimsmith/index.png
It looks like the style sheet isn't right.
I tried the same thing with two other themes and receive the same results.
I do not have spaces or other characters in my file names.
I've never had this problem with Artisteer--it's been a wonderful, user-friendly program from day 1. Someone please help!!! Someone please help!!!

Try generating a new theme(without importing malfunctioning theme) export it as wordpress theme and you'll have desired results.

When you are exporting the theme to a directory are you uploading the theme with the same directory name? Wordpress will not display an incomplete theme so if you don't upload all of the files created by Artisteer it won't display as an available theme. Capitalization matters, so if you export it to c:\Export you have to upload it to the themes directory with the same spelling and capitalization.
