Artisteer is not designed for that purpose. All you need is to design your "shceme", look and feel, that you would like to see in your web. when done, you use the export function, (html export for example), then open the exported file using expression web, dream weaver, or any web design / html editor you may have. the easiest way to edit you links then, is using the code page. Or just follow the help menu for the program you are using. Generally, the results are great.

Holy shit!
All right, change the "HTML", and "artx"?
What I expected was able to change anything, including the texts of the page, text and links the buttons inside the "Artisteer", and not edit to change.
I am disappointed with this.

:-D

Yes this sucks big time, it should have been stated clearly on the website. Luckily I have dreamweaver so I will try to import it there and change text etc...:-<

This product is beyond awesome. It is incredibly powerful and I haven't had this much fun since I played with my kids' legos. :-D

However...

There seems to be a real problem with customer expectations. Judging from the comments, a LOT of the people who are trying to use this program do not know what a template is.

It looks like people are expecting Artisteer to be a replacement for FrontPage etc. I think it is the company's responsibility to somehow explain to people what a template is and that if they are going to use Artisteer for html websites they are going to need some kind of html editor.

Artisteer is so incredibly cool. It would be a shame if confused ex-customers go out and give it a bad review.

Thanks for providing such an amazing tool!

Are you kidding me?

When you wash a car, you take the elements like soap and water and sponges and have to put them together in order to do what you want.

Artisteer gives you the base page to work from, in a really neat tool that allows you to edit almost any element on the page! And for an excellent price too.

Seriously, if you are going to complain about what it does, I am sure Dreamweaver would love to take 10 times the amount of money you'd pay them!

:-)

Just want to tell you, I have been using your product for over 2 months now and I love it!.
I use something else to build websites, but I create nice looking headers and graphics out of some of the elements in the program and combine them and
now I can offer custom matched blogs for my clients with ease using Artisteer .
You have been very helpful whenever I hit a bump, and I appreciate it.
I am working on a site right now that will use wordpress and artiseer but look like a website in the layout. I will post it when I am done.
I am hoping to start creating more of these so my clients can update and work on their own sites with ease.

Thanks!
