I'm trying something new so maybe I'm not searching the right terms to find what I need.
I've got a software development background and I want to prototype a little IoT device. I have a Raspberry Pi and I want to hook up a servo motor so I can write an application to run it. So I understand I'll need a motor, power source, breadboard etc. Where can I buy that in town? I know I can do it online but I'd like to have a local place to go to in case I need more parts or upgrades etc without having to wait for the shipping cycle. Any suggestions?

This approach often proves advantageous, particularly when adjustments are necessary during the assembly process. In today's context, online ordering stands out as the optimal choice. This allows access to a significantly broader array of electronics, conveniently delivered to your doorstep. Moreover, the online platform often provides the expertise of specialists who can guide you to the best-suited options. In instances where a desired part is no longer in production, these experts can assist in identifying a suitable analog for replacement. This underscores the importance of having a specialist who accumulates information on a diverse range of components. For my electronic needs, I personally rely on the website https://www.xonelec.com/. This platform not only offers a diverse selection of electronic parts but also delivers them globally, providing an extensive assortment. The convenience of worldwide shipping, coupled with the expertise available, makes online platforms like XonElec an invaluable resource for sourcing and substituting electronic components.
