Do those tips work with all templates for Wordpress? I've created a website with templates for Wordpress from
http://www.templatemonster.com/wordpress-themes.php
resource, and I need to speed it up now. Will I be able to do it?

First of all, you should never download and use freebie templates. Many if not most have spyware, malware, or some kind of hidden coding n them to track use and potentially do alot more. They're not vetted. Studies have actually been done on this topic and most freebie templates aren't good for anyone and can come with a high price.
Secondly, this is a forum for Artisteer and Themler designing, so it's unlikely anyone could predict what will happen to you using a different freebie template service that most people don't use.
I would e-mail Theme Monster if possible and ask them for help, since it comes from them.
Good luck.

Also a dedicated WordPress host would help.
