If this were my project I would be making a standalone artisteer designed wordpress page as home page with the header and full page slider and footer as as you need. That would be loaded by Cpanel or FTP. Then in the Cpanel you make the redirect order to send the viewers to your standalone page The pages listed in the footer will need to be directed correctly to inner pages or to standalone page.
