Can't use menu restriction with PrivateContent plugin |

Hello there,
I used Artisteer a while ago for our website (http://www.fujitools.com/), and we are using a PrivateContent plugin (http://codecanyon.net/item/privatecontent-multilevel-content-plugin/1467885) to display some private content to some users.
This plugin has also the function of hiding/displaying some menus/submenus depending on the user category.
This is working fine with a normal WP theme but not with my Artisteer generated theme (unless you unset the custom theming of the menu though the theme options, but of course, this is not good).
The plugin's author told me restrictions are set through the "wp_nav_menu_objects" filter.
I've had a look at my files but I can't see where this is failing...
Is it possible to have a little help ?
