@A.R. - Gee Whiz!. 3.3 has only been out 3 days. Give them some time!!
Joomla is a CMS. You don't need to import content!!

All is NOT well with Joomla 3.3 and Arty 4.2.
I have a situation where, when displaying an RS Forms Pro form, it's cutting the body of the page in 1/2, and displaying the right sidebar in the right hand side of the body.
And, yes, I sent a support request today and was, bluntly, told J3.3 isn't supported - that's it.

Hi Daniele,
the Joomla export plugin is now located on server. It is updated on server, the version of local plug in does not matter.

Papachen WE, why do you think that plugin is not updated? Did you re-export the template with Artisteer 4.2.0.60623?
|

Papachen WE

The plugin has the date of 13/09/2013 with version 1.2.

Thank you Papachen WE.
I have installed Artisteer 4.2.0.60623 Win dated November 1, 2013.
The button to install content from template is mentioned but doesn't work.
Sorry, forgot to write that plugin 1.2 should be installed because there are no updates available in the update panel.

I can't believe it:
The problem was caused by IE. Tried it with Chrome and it seems to work.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi,
Yes, the latest 4.2 version exports templates for Joomla 3.2 and 3.3. We have updated the export plug-in on our server and that's why there is no 3.3 export option in the application dialog. in any case the template should work fine.
Best regards,
Tanya.

Hello,
I've just bought Artisteer. I've installed it and I'm trying to export to Joomla. But I just see only version 3.0 and 3.1. in export options.
I've read in this forums about your export plugin updates, but I think my artisteer doesn't upgrade automatically. When I read export plugin literature it shows:
Updated: 3/29/2013
Plugin Version: 1.2
How can I know if my plugin version is ok?

So i contact the support and they told me that i must disable some basic stuff in joomla so it might work. i also used ie, chrome and Firefox so i hoped it will worked.
The permissions on ftp are set to 755 so realy i don't know what to do.

Have since today Artisteer 4.3 and tried to install templates with content on Joomla 3.3.6. Unfortunately, just as in 4.2 without success. We make no menus and no content. Must be made in Joomla special settings? Is there a current instruction to those versions?

I have the same problem: topmenu doesn't work. Where is the answer?

Topmenu displays vertically problem:
- make sure that there is no module or menu class suffix set up in modulemanager
- also make sure to place it into the "user3" ("position-1") position
Content import problem:
- for Joomla 3.2+ make sure that you're using Artisteer 4.3(no need to bother about Joomla plugin version)
- make sure to set 755 or 777 to "templates" folder - after content is imported you can lower the permission number back
- make sure that php.ini allows to install templates larger than 2 mB(the default value) - see more info here:

Hello guys!
we're aware of the problem with export content in the Joomla 3.3. Developers are working on the solution and we'll provide a fix asap.
I believe this was posted in December 2014 - has any progress been made - I just upgraded a couple of sites to Joomla 3.4 and the content will not import. Help
