I'm really starting to notice a cool trend in responsive web design with the full width slider in the background, and the site seems to roll over layers of different background pictures when scrolling down the page. No idea who either of these people are, but I want to know if Artisteer (4.1) has the capability of making sites like this.

If so, can you guide me to a tutorial and/or share what plugins are used for something like this? If not capable in Artisteer, anyone have a suggesion where to find out how to create these kind of sites?

Thanks for your help.

This tutorial is an excellent starting point.

Create your basic theme in artisteer. Then hack it to bits to achieve the parallax effect you are after...

This assumes that we're really good at hacking code. What if we're not? Would love if there was a way to do this through Artisteer!

If you want to have beautifull, valid, modern, optimized website, you should know something about How to do it. Therefore there are some designers, who can hack code, or they do not need any wysiwyg editor or tool - because they simply know how to code in notepad. There is a lot of things to know, HTML, PHP, JS,.. and Artisteer is good to make quick mockups, it can save a lot of time to make wordpress or joomla template, but the miracles - it is mainly know-how and I have to make hands a little bit dirty in coding:-)

if you look around, you will find some opensource paralax javascript library, so you can use them.

I Agree with Pawlik you should learn if you want to achieve results.

But there is NO need to hack anything.

Use Artisteer to produce your basic template. Then use Visual Composer by WPBakery to build your paralax areas and overall page construct.

Doesn't the endless scroller effect damage SEO? I'm familiar with the design but don't care for it because a) it seems to confuse some people with weird navigation and b) it seems (to me) counterintuitive with layout and taxonomy and design, but I'm still open to learning it.
