I use the Artisteer slideshow function in my template header and this displays seamlessly on desktop/laptop browsers.
However my tablet flickers every time the slide changes. The entire page, apart from the header, reverts to my background for a second and this happens every time the slide changes.
Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to stop this from happening?
Thank you for any replies.

I have tried to use slide in header with no success. How did you make use of slides in header?

Hi cnng,
Artisteer 4 gives you the option of inserting a slideshow into your header. If you open up the header menu, the slideshow menu is the second section from the right.
It works really well on PCs and laptops, but I still can't figure out what is making the screen flicker on tablets.

Do you have a link?

My site seems to have a slight flicker which seems to be caused by the slideshow fading from one image to another. See link below:

It is almost like the site has a pulse...
Any ideas?

I have the same issue on a clients site. I am taking over for a previous designer and I haven't used this theme before. If you go to this page http://theshepherdsstudio.com/client-portal/client-registration/ and begin to enter your name, you will see the flicker. I seem to only notice it in Safari, but could be noticeable on tablets as well.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
in general it is related to the way how browser loads the page. Partly the issue is caused by background images and effects. Try to play around different backgrounds, it may help.
