Hello everyone! I've used Artisteer at an old job I worked at and decided to get the program myself. I'm a big Dreamweaver user, so my initial intention was to do the work in Artisteer, export it into a webpage and bring it into Dreamweaver. It seems to work, but of course we all know WYSIWYG programs aren't perfect. I created a new site brought all the files into Dreamweaver and in Design mode everything is all over the place. In live mode it's perfect and pretty, as well as testing it online. Is there a way to fix it in Design mode? If not another question:

I'm looking for a good photo gallery and I can't seem to find one that I'm looking for in Artisteer. I have this incredibly awesome Jquery plug in on Dreamweaver and that's why I'm trying to import the files there. Any advice? Thank you in advance. I love the layout in Artisteer 4 it's significantly come a long way from when I used it a few years ago!

I already shared this technique a few times to deaf ears. Create a simple template and an Artisteer Template and toggle between the two. The simple template is used to work with DW plugins. Switch to the Artisteer Template before uploading to your remote site.

The problem lies with design mode in DW, even sites built in Dreamweaver look crap in design mode.

Cant figure out why you need to use Artisteer, for all the messing about you may as well learn Dreamweaver

@Bigfoot

You can't efficiently design in Dreamweaver (unless your some kind of CSS3/HTML5 Wizard with Asperger Syndrome). You have to design your project via third party applications (i.e, Photoshop, Fireworks, Edge). Artisteer cuts down on my design time by a least 2/3. Therefore, I can take on clients who otherwise could not afford my per hour prices.

You are correct in saying that the DW design mode is not compatible with Artisteer. However, as long as you can create a DW template with Artisteer (which I explained how to do), you can toggle the design into and out of your project. DW Templates work independently of DW pages.
