Hi - I've created a wordpress theme and optimised it for mobile/responsive viewing, but when it's viewed like that the dropdown submenu items don't appear. Is there any way to ensure these are available to select in mobile view?

I've also noticed that with the vertical menu the flyouts submenus do seem to appear but they fly off the screen and there's no way to view them properly.

Yep! You go to Menu --> Submenu --> Options --> Responsive menu

There you can set the levels of the responsive menu.

Thanks for that tip. I've tried doing that, but now what happens is that it just displays every single menu and submenu item all the time, in both the computer and mobile versions, which is not what I want at all!

I've tried it with responsive level set to Expand with Reload as well as All Open and it's the same both ways, they're just all open all the time wherever you view the site!

OK - I discovered it was doing that because for some reason every time I changed the theme wp dropped the created horizontal menu from the menu selection and just showed the default of everything!

The responsive menu appears to work on some occasions, but not on others. I have selected Expand with Click on site I designed, and did the same exact thing on another site. It works as I wanted on the first site, but not on second. Apparently, there is still a bug in the artisteer software when it comes to responsive menus.

Also, stay away from the ubermenu plugin. This plugin does not work when you activate it.
