Resolvi da seguinte forma:
Na administração coloquei o TEMA " Hathor - Default" e fui nas opções do meu Template, e apareceu a opção de 'importação do conteúdo'.
Resolvido.

@ alessandro
Try setting permissions of your Joomla installation folders to 755 and files to 644 and make sure you are running PHP 5.3.x

You can easily change permissions using an FTP.

Artisteer 4.2 RC does not give the error 500 even without changing permissions. So thats solved. But other things don't seem to work.

Hi Theiva,
most probably it is related to template size (I assume that it's pretty large) and PHP settings.
Check and adjust the setting in php.ini file as shown here:
http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=1556804

I went to template manager and clicked on the title of the template I am using. (same screen where you choose which pages the template is to be used with).
There was a big button that said "Import Content". That worked for me!

I have had the exact same problem, but the Artisteer support team solved it.
It is very importent that you export your template in the same version as your Joomla. You can not export in Artister to Joomla version different from the version your Joomla server is running. Allso you have to include ARTX project and Content. I have purchased the new Artisteer v. 4.3.0 and updatet my Joomla to Joomla! 2.5.28 Stable. Now all is working..import button and all

I really would like to know how to solve this problem. It is just not possible to upload the content of an Artisteer Template in to Joomla 3.9.1. Please Artisteer lets solve this issue. Thank you!

Try the following hotfix:
1) Open theme folder on the server or via Joomla admin panel
2) open /data folder
3) open install.php file there
4) find this line:
require_once JPATH_BASE . DS . 'includes' . DS . 'toolbar.php';
5) replace it with this code:
$prefix = version_compare(JVERSION, '3.9', '>=') ? 'sub' : '';
require_once JPATH_BASE . DS . 'includes' . DS . $prefix . 'toolbar.php';;

I am exporting the template as a zip with the content button ticked,
In Joomla I upload the template via Extension Manager from the drop down.
But then for the life of me I cannot find the:
Install Content From A Template via the template styles.
When clicking on the template there is only screen with the options:

Template description
What am I doing wrong?
i have upgraded to Joomla 3.1.1 - "import content from template button" does not exist on Joomla! 3.1.1- it was working fine on Joomla! 3.0.3
