Hi!
Newbie here. Looking for some help styling my home page to include a photo that encompasses the entire screen width- take a look at this site for an example of what I am trying to mimic:
http://www.haverkaterealestate.com
I want to re-create a similar effect for my Home Page only- not for the site background on interior pages.
Any help on how I could do this would be so appreciated!

So do you want a slideshow like they have or a background image? Makes a huge difference in the answer. Similar is pretty vague.

Create a site in Artisteer and do not put in a header image, then search the Joomla extension site for a graphic image module, some of the better ones you have to pay for. Then just put that module into the header position as per the article layout you will find on this site, just google artisteer and article layout. 
Hopefully Artisteer one day will have rotating header images built in!

Don't know if the header will push down for the homepage only. You don't want one on the rest of the pages that height. You will have to define the header height. The stupid program forces a minimum of 50px so you will have to override that in the export options.
