No sytem messages shown in Joomla 3

The thing is that I do not get system messages shown when for instance you enter a wrong login. Or more important for me: when you checked out after payment you should get a system message. In Joomla 2.5 I had no problems. Any solution for this? This issue should be fixed there (Export -> Marketplace -> Updates -> Joomla Template).
