In a previous post I said I was making a similar site to a superstore where you select your local store and the main page changes along with what's on the navigation bar. I was wondering how this would be possible, how the files would be managed etc. because of mutiple main pages very simlar there will be content the same on some pages and on the nav bar but leaf to different informatin.any info would be great thanks.

Hi Lloyd, maybe consider taking some Joomla training. Lynda.com has a online course on the essentials of Joomla.

Anyway, now that you are aware of making a separate template for each store you will have to do the same with the rest. Hopefully you are using Joomla 2.x or 3.

You need to make a new menu for each store/template and assigning the menu module to only that stores pages. Same with content. Create categories and sub categories then the articles/pages for each store. When you go to add a menu module it will offer you choices for what menu you would like to use.

Keep in mind you must have unique urls for each menu item. So if you want to create more than one location page or whatever you will have to assign unique menu aliases manually. It will complain if you try to anyway.
