Maybe You could some date??
I will be very glad for any information.

Don't hold your breath. Evidently Mono doesn't support Artisteer code anymore, so we won't be seeing a new Mac program or even anything higher than a buggy release candidate.

I understand, but I work only for Mac OS X and I don't have Windows and I don't want to so it is very important to me. I will be waiting forward for this new version for Mac.

I'd suggest running Windows in a VM and bootcamp. I wouldn't count on a Mac version any time soon, and if there is, I wouldn't have much confidence that it would work.

Hello,
When are You plan publish a new version of Artisteer for Mac? 4.1??

Just run Virtual Box.
You can run any version of win with Artisteer installed. You can even run it in seemless mode. Then there will be no need for a mac version.

I don't fully understand. Will there NEVER be a new Artisteer for Mac?

Mac has 2% of desktop marketshare...why bother. go virtual or buy a PC. Why would you want to be jailed by Mac hardware anyway?

I think the Artisteer Windows version runs much better in Parallels + XP or W7 than the native Mac version in OS X.
That said, I just bought a laptop and had enough of my imac. Bought it three years ago and now nothing but failing hardware problems.
Anyway, as James already spelled it out, virtualization is the better way to go. Plus, if time = money, then the Win version will pay for itself before too long. :)

Latest version tested and working with VirtualBox.
Work's with VirtualBox running WinXP or Win7 on Win/Mac or Linux PC.
Work's perfectly for me.
Would probably work on Solaris as well. But I haven't test that OS yet.

Macs are doing much better than 2% of desktops if you exclude large businesses and government.
I run Mac specifically because I prefer it over Windows. Running Windows in a virtualbox offers all the headaches and costs of Microsoft with the added complication of running a virtual box. What could possibly go wrong? NOTE: I am not saying Macs are perfect, merely that I prefer Apple headaches to Microsoft Migraines.
People are asking Artisteer about a Mac update. I get the whole "don't bet on it" answer from the community, but Artisteer still should answer customers who paid for a year of updates.

I actually prefer running Win7 in virtual box under Linux. It's the best of both worlds!
If anything goes wrong with Win7 I just restore the image.
Maybe if they wrapped Artisteer in a Headless Win32 Emulator it would do the trick.
It's essentially what they've been doing all along anyway.

I bought a PC but I don't think it should be necessary. I have to use my Mac to create images and work with photos and then send it to my PC so I can use it in Artisteer there. And I don't want to buy all new software for a PC I actually only use for Artissteer. Very complicated.

So does it mean Artisteer people won't ever create new version for Mac? Is it final answer?

Same here...and I paid for a year of updates (for couple months ago) just to get the latest version.

Why should you get an update?

Use the right OS then you have no problems with programs and hardware.

FYI, Mac has a 9.8% Market Share in Q1 2013... And anyway, people using Macs have paid their license to get upgrades as well.
If there is nothing that the artisteer team is willingto do, the most simple thing for them would be just to say "Sorry, our soft does not work on Mac OS"
