I tried to get support with this and their answer was to uncheck the responsive checkbox.
In other words no support for responsive. Haven't used Artisteer since.

Mobile Joomla sucks that's my personal experience. Every time there's an upgrad eyou have to modify the css and other settings in order to get the look you had before upgrading.
Regarding support here, you should try to contact them via the Support pages, my experience is great support that way.

Well I agree mostly this forum is lame but if you want support then post a support ticket in the support section that has helped me a lot. But this is maybe a too complex problem for such issues.

I was looking for answers, before buying artisteer, I need to make a site or many sites and have no problems, but reading here I have seen that there are problems with reading the sites on smartphones, and now I do not know whether to buy it

Noko as a long time Artisteer user I am very disappointed with the responsive design. I have no reason to believe your experience will be any better.

My impression is that the responsive design is bad, because all of the menu items just stack and you end up with a little tiny screen full of menu items, and lose your header items, or they just overlay each other in a big mess. I was told by Artisteer to just turn off the responsive layout option. Thanks for that suggestion Artisteer! Back to no mobile!

Menu is easy to solve with ckmenu nd mobile blugin for it.
Bigger problem it that you cannot make any changes to look in responsive designs, example you cannot tell where content should be. It is stupid that content is near bottom.
That is not only responsive designs problem but also affects to normal template and seo. Contetn should be firs in code (and move to where ever with css. In artisteer template content is somewhere middle of page.
Just downloaded the new final version of 4.1 to see have the solved these problems but not. They have made menu little better but its not good even now (altough stylable to good with css).
Problem is also that you have no control about responsiveness. You cant tell how it should look in some resolution. Now that looks really bad in tablet.

Now i did little testing and this is getting better. Now i managed to more easily to float content and sidebar.
so if you want that your content is first (in code and in responsive layout) and sidebar still being in left. You can archieve that with little css changes..
First of all you need to export you template that it have sidebar on the right (we move it to left afterwards).
Only changes needed in css is these (You can also add these to artisteer additional css field to take effect right in artisteer):
.art-content-layout .art-content {
float: right; /* Add this */
margin: 0 auto;
width: 800px; /* Add this and use correct width for your template, this can also be % if needed */
}
.art-content-layout .art-sidebar1 {
clear: none; /* Add this */
float: left; /* Add this */
margin: 0 auto;
width: 200px;
}
You can remove those comments, hope this helps for someone.
This will make your content first in responsive layout and also helps seo, because content is the rated higher.

jkwebdesign,
I went through your list of additions/changes to the css for my responsive artisteer site and it made it 100% better!!!!! (I went through Firebug to check out the changes before changing the css.)
Wow! This has bugged me for a while, Thank You SO much!
Now I just have to figure out how to make the header image resize proportionally...

Is there any way to re-arrange the columns in a 3 column design? I have a main page template with 1 article area and a sidebar on either side. I would like for the Article to be the first thing in responsive view. However, the left column defaults to the top position in responsive. Please help.

Hi jkwebdesign,
thank you very much for your tip, it worked perfectly. I didn't even need to export, the only thing i did beside your css is, to change the order of the content and sidebar1 div, so that sidebar1 comes after content in the index.php.
