Hi everybody,
If I prepare a template using Artisteer 4 and export on Joomla (2.5.8 and previous releases) footer is invisible. No text, nothing.
In previous version of Artisteer it worked fine.
It's a bug?

I know this forum is fairly lame but it does have a decent search function.
I just can't explain it one more time.

You either need to export content with the template and import it on your Joomla admin or use a custom HTML module to add the content to footer.

Footer module with language override is much better. Date is dynamic and it isn't affected by updates. Use the custom html module above for your links, etc.

I don't want import content on my Joomla site. I prefer use a custom html module for my footer template.
I'm not an expert. Please, can everybody show me a sample custom html model for footer? I need insert date and copyright on the left and twitter and facebook icons on the right of footer.
After this, I have paste the code on index.php. Can you please show me the correct position to place the html code?

Go to extensions-> Module manager-> New-> select Custom HTML module-> Add your HTML in editor-> Place it on a position-> Select on which pages you wan to display it.

I solved using a custom html module, placed on the correct position. Now my website works fine!
