We are waiting for the 4.1 version. Artisteer promised the new version will have e-commerce plug-ins for example Prestashop etc.
I want to beleive they will release the new version soon.(they said November- December).
Unless they are waiting for Joomla 3 to become official first, but Joomla 3 will become offical at March.
Someone from Atisteer team should at least let us know if that is the case and if not, then at least they should tell us when we have to expect for the version 4.1
We are waiting for the 4.1 and Artisteer SHOULD keep us infrom about an estimate day. The " we are not sure yet" is not acceptable anymore.

Over the years, Artisteer has been very poor in keeping clients informed. This is nothing new.

I personally think the team of Artisteer gives great support. The few times I had real problems, they solved it in 24 hours. I think this is great. I know companies that needs more than week to send a simple conformation message to tell you they received your email.
The fact Artisteer doesn’t give much information regarding release dates and future features is in my opinion a wise thing to do. (in Artisteers point of view) Still, for their customers is this a bit annoying.
Maybe it is possible they create a to do list, where we customers can see what they are doing.
Like the kunena forum. They put a list online with possible new features where users can vote. And the users can see if an idea is still pending, in development or completed.

I think the biggest problem is that there hasn't been ANY news since september 29 and that fact in itself is bad news.

Seriously. Sending in the artx file only to be told that they can't duplicate the problem is ridiculous. Artisteer 4 IS full of bugs no matter what they say.
Last week someone said they could not see the header image on one of my sites. No flash, nothing fancy, just an image.
Tracking down bugs and other issues does not save time and make things easy to create, it just causes headaches.
I have since migrated over to a proper WordPress Framework.

They are obviously releasing updates - I have one that someone posted a link to! But they are not made public for some reason???
@wut - I have yet to see a product as good as Artisteer, what are you using now?

For people who can't can't code and require a WYSIWYG interface, or need to be able to produce themes for many sites. But there is a reason why you can't list Artisteer themes on WP.org or any other popular theme template site that sells themes.
