I'd love to take a look and comment but, there's the issue of the sign-up!

If one is required to sign up prior to seeing the tutorial then, to my way of thinking, this is NOT a "free" step-by-step video course.

But, more importantly (leaving aside the "what-if's" of giving you a throwaway email), i just don't sign-up for anything free anymore. Free is not free on the web. It always costs someone time or money.

Good luck with your tuts..

And I think Artisteer forum does not allow footer signatures !!

Link to site is fine but I think signatures everywhere is not good !!

Just my 2 cents.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback!

@PP100: sorry you're not a fan of the design, but the feedback's appreciated.

@Unglood: sorry to hear you're not comfortable with the email sign-up. If you really don't want to hear from me, you can simple sign-up and unsubscribe. Each email I send has an unsubscribe link.

@Garry: thanks for the input. It's how I drive traffic to the site, but I'll definitely consider not using a signature.

Zach , ure tutorials are pretty amateur way of marketing/advertsing other websites and to sell ure own templates, good effort but CHEAP move for a forum posting.
and 'Paul Crandlemyass' is cheapest of all for his last comment by big talking on negative people nd backin up for these insignificant tutorials

Hey Zach - thanks for all the work you put into the tutorials.
I think Artisteer should hire you to create their tutorial which are sadly lacking.
I learned a few good tips from watching yours.

But there are so many details that are hard to find info on anywhere.
And Artisteer seems headed towards an online service Artisteer.net - which is quite a change of direction :-( as we have all been using our own hosting until now. It seems they want to target the 'I want to design my own website, but Im too scared to get real hosting' market :-(

Currently I am trying to figure out how to add blocks and social icons when they are not already present.
And how to upload a template with content without wiping out the homepage already on the site.

Anyway - thanks very much - I appreciate your work and hope it does generate some money for you :-)

Zach's tutorials are sweet, to say the least. It's okay if his templates too get sold in the process .. how he is helping out the absolute beginners is just so very good. Luv the approach.

Well, is this my turn to speak? Zach, I wasn't at all offended by your website, just the fact that you were not honest "HERE" about the fact that you are selling access to the tutorials. That being said, I DID like your site and the couple of videos that I did see. As a matter of fact, I sent you a solicitation because we need an attractive template built for our company website.

So, your tactic worked. Please respond to my email and everyone else remember this: Not EVERYTHING was meant for you nor does everything that you do not like need to be commented on by you".

There are those of us that need help on all levels from beginner to pro which is what makes this stuff so fun in the first place.

Yeah Zach, you really make us look like jerks, your template really sucks, it has no style, it has nothing, no one can use that template, it was a total waste of time, I know you can do much better, you just didn't want to spend time on that...so bad, I like much more your doggie, Abby, she's so cute!

Where is the free access?
The fórum administrators must have more attention with those "free" things

I have no idea why people are griping about Zach's site, tutorials, or templates.
The Artisteer tutorials are totally FREE. And they are very, very helpful. And very thorough. Did I mention they were free? (he's not selling access to the Artisteer tutorials)
Just fill in your email address and he sends you the link to the tutorials. And you can then unsubscribe from his emails if you wish. This isn't difficult.
Yes, he does sell other training. So what? It's good too, and you're not forced to buy anything to view the FREE Artisteer tutorials.
If you're new to Artisteer and are having a tough time getting around the interface, these free tutorials will help immensely.

Zach,
I love the tutorials and I believe the peopole who are commenting about the templates you creatre being of low quality wouldn;'t know a good website if they were sitting right in front of it. I love the way you impart good site building hints like color selections for those of us who have not had the years of experience in seeing what colors seem to attract visitors and keep them coming back. I have always found experience is a far better teacher than book learning. Thank you again for your help.
