After weeks of battles here's a working Wowslider in an Artisteer theme:
http://www.cannonbeachcomputers.com/testing/it-security/
The How-To below to is brief and to the point
The Wowslider plugin (Ver 2.5. or 2.5.3.) doesn't cut it - either from the WP plugin site or the Wowslider latest version 2.7.1.
So, I had to resort to Artisteer's Wordpress Templateer plugin
The link above shows the Templateer "Home Page Left Widget Area" activated for just this single Page ID 338
The code in the Templateer Text Widget is the essential Wowslider html code with the links to engine and data as fully qualified - as in http://domainname.com/wpblog/engine etc...
The wowslider js scripts are similarly Fully Qualified and at the bottom/end of the Wowslider ul code.
The H1 at the top of the Wowslider is Custom CSS code for Templateer - because Templateer is not reading the Artisteer Style Sheet's H1.
What a friggin' nightmare to get a slider working.
Now, I'm going to Artisteer's Slider and get those Wowslider JPG's looking good with Glares and Textures and then Re-import to Wowslider....
This works to-day - 11/11/12 - until anybody's software gets updated. Then, all bets are off....
HTH.

I like the menu and how to sub-menu pops up.
Is that a Templateer feature?

Today, 11/15/2012 the menus are straight-up Megamenu Extended from Artisteer.
"he he" is right.... Good job I opted for the low maintenance approach! Anyways, now with a slider working, a few pictures are worth a few 10's of thousands of words. That helps.
