Already half year between the 4.0 announcement and the (not yet arrived) 4.0 release for Mac.

Agreed. My update was due last january and again next January, and no real update. Ver 3.0 was out before I updated.
Very slow process - though it has given me the inspiration to start coding my own themes, so probably won't need to upgrade next january.
