I have just loaded Windows 8 on a partition to check it out (it is rubbish for PCs as expected).

I went to look at my sites in IE10 created in Artisteer and found them all to have been cut off at the top. Can anyone else confirm this who have IE10 please.

I lose about 1cm which on two sites includes top menu!!

My site looks good in IE10 on a Win8 Box.

I confirmed pixels with Chrome, FF, IE9 and 10 and all look the same - especially at the top.

What's your site? I'll show you mine if you show me yours?

Hey Unglood...

I see that you are one of the only ones that actually posts to this website...There does not appear to be any moderator, or any company support whatsoever.

I know that you have used WowSlider and had some luck, so I am looking for your advice..

I am currently trying to create a VERY BASIC theme with Artisteer...I am having a heck of a time...In my opinion, it is not very intuitive when it comes to layout, content, blocks, tables, etc....I have been working ont his thing for HOURS and just about ready to give it up...

I am working on the content of the site now and sort of working from the top down...Is all I want to do is add a simple slider..So, I download WowSlider Demo and created 5 demo slides with a grey background so that I can see how they fill the space....

My website is 900 px wide...I belive that I have removed all boarders, margins, padding, etc....It is difficult to see which might be causing problems....

I am having a couple of problems...
1. The slider is sort of "jumping" when transitioning from slide to slide...why is this?? It is driving me crazy...
2. Why cant I create a slider that is exactly 900 px wide so that it fills up my sheet from edge-to-edge...it always seems to have a wide border around it....

Here is the sample with a 850x300 slider...You can see that it has a boarder around it as expected since the sheet is 900 px wide...but the slider jumps between transitions.

Here is the same thing except it is 900x300....You can see that there is still a UNEQUAL white boarder around this slider...Why is it not going fully side-to-side with no border? Why is there a white border above the slider? Plus, it jumps between transitions....

If I can't find a way through this soon, I am going to look for a different CMS solution......These little things are driving me crazy..

Thanks for any advice or direction you might have.

Mike

@mike

Both your links in the page above produce "page not found" errors.

And yes, the little things will always drive you crazy - for a variety of reasons.

Patience is a virtue; wait for programmers to catch up with Marketing's promises.

(Marketers have made the web an almost total cesspool. They make the world a cesspool! I also remember when news outlets in the early 2000's couldn't even pronounce the word www. - and now they think they're "Social Media experts". What a joke.)

Probably a Remote Training Session would work best in your case. It would cut down on your learning time frustrations and enable you to see exactly what Artisteer can and can't do for you - in it's current version.
