Site won't resize. Is it Artisteer or Joomla?

Hi,

Could anyone kindly help me out here please?

I created a site using an Artisteer version 3 template and it looks great on most browsers and resizes perfectly on iphones etc.
I've created a template on V4 and it won't resize. The jpegs do but it seems nothing else will. The header remains huge and the site is unviewable on mobile devices.

Do you think this is a problem with my template or with the way Joomla is set up?

Any help would be most appreciated as I don't have much hair left to pull out!!

Pete

Are you sure the "responsive" setting is ticked in the export option?

Thanks Jonas.

No it wasn't ticked.

I just re-exported with it ticked (and changed the favicon to make sure the new template is used) and it still looks the the same on both iphone and ipad.

Any other ideas ??

You might have to ditch the Artisteer slideshow and try an extension in place. Look for "responsive sliders" in the joomla extensions. Set it to the position you like. That my solution for all the site I work on. Several free ones, but the best one I found is the Nivo Revolution but paid.
Hope this helps.

Make sure the responsive stylesheet is there in the template and is called properly in index file, contacting Artisteer support with exported template may also be very helpful.

:-@ Figured it out!

In Artisteer... Go to Layout... Under Sheet width...
click 100% Fluid.
THEN.. click more sheet width options.
And change your Minimum Width to 220px
As of now it is set to 700px

Hope this helps! :-{}

@ Quỳnh

Try removing the call to responsive stylesheet (may be index file) or removing the responsive stylesheet itself.

For Artisteer 4, upon Joomla export I just set Responsive Web Design to NO at the OPTIONS tab. Now my template works 100% on the iPhone, IPad etc. in terms of zooming via the touch screen.

Hello
I used an artisteer template and then export to joomla 2.5
Before exporting I did not check responsive design.
Therefore it is not compatible with ipad and smartphones.
After I did a lot of changes on Joomla so I cannot reexport aigain i will loose everything
Is there a solution ?
Thanks
