Artisteer V4 outputs html files as .html. It does not, as far as I could find, allow us to change that to .htm.
A site I am updating is currently using .htm
Is there a way tell the browser to redirect to the .html in all cases. I have as far a possible kept the prefix to the old name - eg oldname.htm is now oldname.html
thanks

If you are using apache then you could try this .htacess entry offered on this forum.

Now that I am back to mostly static sites, it's very, very useful. www to non www, removing the index.html for the homepage, etc. Great stuff.

Great stuff says you. I honestly think you do enjoy that. OK I have the required wording to do all the things you suggest above and to redirect htm to html.
But it will take a few days for the courage to build up - will probably try it at the dead of night just in case.
