Hi everyone,

I am wondering if it is possible to create a clickable message in the header?
I know it is possible to create the logo or the whole header to be clickable,
but I am hoping create a message that can be clicked independently.

Example, I am going to have the logo in the header banner, but I am also including
a message with a button. Now, I would like the button to be clickable.

Not sure if this is possible?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

I am using version 4.

Not sure if it's OK for you to share the info? if it's not to complicated or long for you.

Thanks.

Create a shape in the header. Edit the html code for it, and enter your text, hyperlinks, images, etc...

You need to right mouse click on the shape to access it's html code.

Hi, That sounds good but when I try to do it I get options to delete shape or add new slide and nothing to edit HTML. Would be great if a or even an image map link could be placed on header.

Thanks

Response Hi,

There is no HTML Source option for shapes in the header.
You can edit them with the help of options window.

Check out the 2 minute silent video that does exactly what TanyaG says it's not possible.

http://bakcovers.com/files1122/headerhtml/default.html

Summary:

1. I created a page and put the message with the button.
2. Copied the html code for the page (in case you don't know html), you can use this technique).
3. Created the shape.
4. Edited the html code for the shape and pasted the code from the page I created.
5. Made the shape transparent.
6. Tested it - SUCCESSFULLY.

I let you judge how useful or useless the Artisteer support team is.

Thanks Nick for the response.

Unfortunately Tanya is right. I can't edit the HTML source for the shape.
It drops down, but does not activate. I am using 4.0.

Not sure why
