Has it been exported as a responsive layout, and are you using IE 8 or earlier? I have found that the slideshow doesn't work if exported as responsive on IE8 or earlier (no surprise) but it appears to work if NOT exported as responsive.

How can I not export it as a responsive layout?
I'm using the newest IE, Firefox and Chrome but none of them works!

It's under Options>General - might be worth a try...

@MARKC
Yes, it's exported, and yes the content is imported.
It doens't work on all latest browsers: IE, FF, Chroome, Safari...

It doesn't work at my side either.
I have moved the slides to another folder e.g. images and then it worked.
Good luck !

all my files for the slider are at \template\data\images
because of the imported content ...

I understand !
but I mean the folder images in the root e.g.
www.yoursite.com/images

Reporting it to Artisteer support may be very helpful in fixing.

@Garry
Sened yesterday the link of my site, and the original .artx file to the Artisteer support.
Answer from the support: "I can't see the page with the content from Artisteer where the slideshow is supposed to be."
so? this is THE REASON I asked this question!

I'm having the same issues with my slider. It shows up in the preview, but doesn't in any browser (safari, chrome, firefox, ie)
I'm also having issues with my drop down menu. The menu is there, but any submenu items don't show up. Grrrr.

The only problem I am having with the slideshow is IE does not transition. It is instant change, oh well. They can fix it. I have only added them to the content area so far.
There are a few internal updates but they have as many bugs as the supposed final.
I had problems with the program and uninstalled all versions and reinstalled and the problems stopped. Of course I also used Revo Uninstaller to remove any traces in the registry as well.

I'll suggest you to contact Artisteer support with your website URL and saved .artx file.

For all those still having problems with the slideshow export:
I would do the following:
Leave the standard image in place do not use the Artisteer slideshow when you export to Jooml INSTEAD use a slideshow module in the Joomla extension manager; it's free and does the job; just make sure that you format the slides correctly and also put the module into the correct position.
Hope that helps.

I use artisteer for wordpress, and I had the same problem and I was able to fix it by exporting the template without the responsibe settings on.
I believe this will work for Joomla as well. Give it a try.
As you export your template, in the export window that pop-up click the 'options' button.
In options, select the general settings. In general, select the 'no' option for responsive web design.
That's it.

I have just completed 2 websites, both with sliders, and after initially working well both sets of slider images disappeared, leaving just the navigation spots!
I am using Artiseer 4.1 and have had the problem in Joomla 2.5.11 and the latest 2.5.14.
As an earlier post suggested, I scrapped the Artiseer slider and installed a Joomla extension module that works fine in the older website. I will probably do the same in the latest site, unless anyone here or at Artiseer can offer me a solution.

1) I made an Artisteer template with slider in the design.
2) Exported the design as a Joomla template
3) Tried to install the exportetd template into a Joomla 3.5 installation.
Result: the template would not install and gave no error message.
After some investigation and trails I found that it was the amount of slides included in the template that was the blocking issue.
- I had 8 slides in the design. That would not install
- After reducing the amount of slides to 6, the template would install
Take note of this to avoid some hair pulling...
Cheers...
