Quote Leonid:

In the next Artisteer update there will be the page with all style elements listed on it, like it were in 3.1.
Hope this will solve the problem.

RC2 Out today. STILL NO CMS VIEW AS PROMISED. ARTISTEER COMPLETELY SCREWED UP.

I am not a Joomla user, but I feel what you are saying, and after a month or so, the support team could not, or would not give you a working solution.

So they did not put the cms view back. OK, let's work around it! In 10 minutes, you can be set.

1. Create a template (web site) in Artisteer. Design a page exactly the way you want it, with your H1, H2, etc... tags, your buttons, table, quotations and anything else that turns you on. Now you have all the page elements that you want to see, in order to customize your template. It should take you 10 minutes or less.

2. Save the .artx file. This is going to be your default template to work with, in the future. This will act as your default content provider for your future designs.

3. Now every time you start a new Artisteer project, go to File -> Import -> Content from ARTX Project, and bring up the content from the template you created in step 1.

Unfortunately this importing feature is not backwards compatible. So you can't import your Art. 3.1 joomla templates. But once you spent 10 minutes to create your desired template, every time after that is 2 clicks away.

Stop yelling at them, it will get you nowhere. From my personal experiences with support I have found only one person who knows what's going on. The rest are clueless, and useless.

This is the best product for what it does - period. That said, the support is terrible, even though they respond fast, but many times it's just lip service, and other nonsense.

To make my point, I'm expecting this post to be erased, that's why I'm saving it, or to get the customary "I suggest you contact customer support (for more lip service)".

I hope this helps guys, it's not a perfect solution, but at least a working one. I wonder why support would not suggest this before! Anyone?

@ Thanks for nothing

It is already added in 4.0 RC, you can see it by clicking "Blog" or "Post" from the left pages panel.

Yep, just click 'blog' or 'post', left side. All the headings etc, like in 3.1, are there, ready for you to do the styling.

(The support team are great. ;-) )

Thanks Nick, I have given up but like your solution to help make it closer to the way it was.
