4,0RC Headers images not visible on pre-IE9?? |

I created a header with slideshow images using 4.0RC and images do not display in pre-version 9.0 of Internet Explorer. I understand that the CSS properties for animation, etc. would work in backrev browsers, but shouldn't the images at least display? They're not even present. Only the shape text boxes appear.

I've tested also graphics (no slideshow only jpg and png) in header and the same problem.
Can i fix it editing the ie*.css ??
