Like most developers I too hate IE but most of my site visitors are still on IE and on last check most are on IE8.
Artisteer 3.x allows headers with a SINGLE image. (not including texture, glare or gradient) to display perfectly in IE8.
V4 breaks that in the name of CSS3. Yes, I FULLY understand the need for CSS3 when adding more than one image to the header and other header tricks. But it should still work as v3 when adding a SINGLE image to the header.
I'm NOT looking for support for IE7 or earlier. Just IE8 which is still the most popular version of IE in use.
I submitted a bug report but whomever answers those is clueless and can;t understand what I'm talking about. And yes, I included a .ARTX file for them.

Try to change header width to "page width". It helps with header images issue in IE 8 (not only with one image).

Thanks grzmar I tried that but no go. It's just broken. They have removed support for image headers in IE8 (the most popular browser in use today.).
