I wanted to share my experience with 4.
I love all the new features but i have to say it crashes a lot, even when i am doing a simple task such as pasting text as a content or making part of the text bulleted.
Sometimes you change, say background or header picture, or apply an affect, it won't take it. You close it reopen it then it works.
Also text wont wrap around the picture in the content area.
Hopefully all these bugs will be fixed soon.
Thanks Artisteer team, keep up the awesome work!

Me too. I really like the new features, particularly the additional styling options for sub-menu items and text shadowing/glow. It takes a little getting used to for those that are familiar with previous versions.

There are quite a few bugs though, as Sakanet said. I don't experience the crashing as much as with v3, but I notice that some changes that are made don't take effect unless you restart the program. Some things don't quite work even if you do restart it.

Using Joomla 2.5.x, the check box styling doesn't seem to work when the template is applied to the site and "Remember Me" appears above or below the box, rather than next to it - might be a padding or font-size issue, but I've tried adjusting these to no avail. Something similar happens with lists of sub-categories (the text appears on the line below where the bullet is).

So overall, the updates are lovely, but I may have to stick with using version 3 until the kinks are worked out of this one. I'm looking forward to it :)

Thanks Artisteer!

Wait a minute, maybe this is the wrong thread :-/

I want to specify that I'm using Artisteer 4.0 for Windows (4.0.0.58475), so if that's the stable release, these bugs are not yet fixed.

If you've got any bugs can you please report them to the Support link on the left? Preferably with steps to reproduce, and an example URL, or .artx file.

I have found them very responsive, but I suspect they are pretty busy at the moment?

Will do, PurpleEdge. :) Yes, no doubt they're pretty busy, thanks!
