Hi,
I want to open a picture from the (artisteer) folder Images - pictures in a photo-editing program but this is impossible. I get: "invalid header". Also there are no thumbnails generated from the images in the folder by windows . It seems to be just ordinary JPEG files.
What can I do about this?
Thanks.

Rob

Nothing. The images are protected it could be they are misnamed by type to confuse editors or there are invalid chars inserted that are cleaned on import. Pity as if we knew we could add or own to the range.

Sorry about dupe post. The forum doesn't work so well with smaller screen Android phones. I did some checks on the image files TRiD cannot identify the format and altering the extension on a copy doesn't bring any joy with known standard extensions. Looks like a proprietary format or maybe an encoded header portion that is decoded when read into Artisteer.

As suggested above most of the library images are copy protected.
