All computers doesn't have all the fonts, and a computer converts a font to default if it doesn't find it installed.
You can try using Google Fonts.

@Garry, than that is plain stupid of Artisteer dev, not to use @font-face and find a way to include the font in the template. This has been bugging me for the last hour as I've been searching for the problem. C'mon Artisteer fix your game up!
Anyway use @font-face and upload your fonts onto the server this will do the trick ;)

@Seppe, it working, I just did it ;) need to finish changing the code though as I still have left overs from the Artisteer mess.
Here are the steps to follow:
- use http://www.font2web.com/ to create the fonts needed
- create folder "fonts" in the template folder (via FileZilla or other FTP Clients)
- add the css code provided with the converted fonts to the top of template.css (and add ../ in front of urls)url ('../fonts/etc.)
- apply the font family where needed
That's it ;)

For me it's also working now
I copied the font-files in the rootmap of the website, the template-map, and in the template/CSS-map.
I don't know which one is working, I leave the font's everywhere :)

If you wrote the url the way I did, then its the template folder fonts that are being used ;)

Hey, i have read though this and i am still having troubles
I used Font 2 Web to give me the zip.. uploaded the fonts to my FTP and added the CSS from the "fonts.css" into the 3 .css files Artisteer exported from HTML Export. Is this all i am meant to be doing?
The font in the header that is meant to be displayed is Zorque.. but im having no luck :\.. its also not working on the mobile site.

@Neokmc, I can't find @font-face anywhere on your site? you need to add the css code into the existing css file and add the exact location of your stored fonts to the font-face code.

Thanks Zian - Just tested this on our Wordpress template and it works great! Custom fonts in the menu and headers. Very cool!

I used the site font2web to convert the font Mistral for Web
I added the code
@ font-face {
font-family: 'Conv_MISTRAL';
src: url ('.. / fonts / MISTRAL.eot');
src: local ('☺'), url ('.. / fonts / MISTRAL.woff') format ('WOFF'), url ('.. / fonts / MISTRAL.ttf') format ('truetype'), url ('.. / fonts / MISTRAL.svg') format ('svg');
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}
the beginning of my template.
with windows xp and i.e. 9 font does not work properly.
The sentence is not loaded correctly, it is "when opposites attract"
in site http://www.memdreamsltd.net/test_duplica_newsite/
I can lend a hand please?
I use artisteer 4.0
thanks Matteo
