I realise that Artisteer 4.0 is in its BETA stage and that there may not be a user manual, but I wonder if there is anything more than the Overview of Artisteer 4.0 Features.

@ Marco... um... software should NEVER be "try it and figure it out," but especially software you pay for should come with documentation.
@Mightec... I would imagine that there will be a User Manual for Artisteer 4.0 when they get it into a late stage beta... where it is close to the release version. Until then, things may change so there really isn't a point in creating something if it doesn't match the release candidate.

When the time comes I guess they will have one for version 4.
That said, it is 208 pages of total waste of time. How many people actually read this, unless they wanted a good sleeping aid?
I'm 100% with Marco on this. I prefer the Artisteer team to concentrate in producing quality code and not wasting time with meaningless manuals. It takes very little effort and time to figure things out without a manual. Besides, you have these forums, Google seach and countless videos on youtube.
I agree that in most cases software should come with a manual, but in this case, because the learning curve is not steep at all, a manual is an overkill.

I contacted support, they are, rightly in my opinion, working on a new Artisteer 4.0 User Manual which will be released as soon as it goes stable.
In the meantime they are more than happy to answer specific questions. Which they have done for me, can cannot thank them enough.
